Julie believes great storytelling can be learned. She is taking the same approach to learning Spanish and using storytelling to accelerate her language learning.
Her bilingual stories—everyday vignettes and insights—capture the joys and challenges of acquiring a foreign language.

Julie is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and holds an MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska. Currently, she is studying Spanish at her local community college.
